Times are tough for everyone, but if you find yourself thinking your pooch deserves a treat too! - Don't we all... Then lucky you because I’ve compiled some of my favourite small dog toys and treats available on Amazon for under £10.00. My dog, Bruce is known for his ability to murder stuffed toys in record time so I've learnt a thing or 2 about what toys last, what ones aren't worth the money and what toys have become staples in our household. So without further ado here are my top Amazon finds under £10, perfect for spoiling your favourite furry friend.

Bundles of toys are treats are great for working out what your pups favourite type of toy or treat are.. or for those that need a few back ups, with a variety of textures and tastes it’s fantastic for young dogs development and for keeping older pooches active. Chewing and licking are proven to help mentally stimulate and lower anxiety in dogs and play can help strengthen your bond! It's a win-win in our books.
At the higher end of our budget coming in at £9.99, we have this dog toy bundle with 10 different types of dog toys including rope tugs, balls and squeaky toys perfect for keeping your pup occupied during those ever-increasing zoom meetings! Working out at just £1.00 per toy it’s a great little bundle to help bulk out the toy basket.
Next up we have balls! Balls are such a stereotype in dogs but for good reason, I’ve never known a dog to not like a ball or two! Tennis balls can be dangerous, especially for dogs that like to chew it, but these Hound tennis style balls don't have that issue, giving your dog the same fun without the risks. I've found 4 of them, squeakers included in the small size, which is the perfect size for small dogs and puppies alike. In 4 different colours, 4.2 stars on Amazon and for only £6.19 a pack it’s a winner in our house, and they last pretty long too!
Enriching, cheap and fun, a fantastic combo to keep our bank balances and our pooches mental health in check. Though I am a big fan of DIY Enrichment, this mango slow feeder is great when you don't have the time... or just can't be bothered (it's a judgement free zone around here). It's especially good to slow down pups that like to wolf down their food or as something to spread treats on, you can stuff the food in the slits of the mango to create a fun enriching treat for your pup. Bonus points If you put it in the freezer first to slow them down even more.
If you prefer feeding dry food or treats, this cute little pepper slow feeder is both adorable and functional. Coming in at just £5.59, it’s easy to clean, not too hard for your pooch to figure out but tough enough that it’s a puzzle for most, it’s great as something that’ll keep your pup mentally enriched and helps with their problem solving skills.
I know it’s more food based enrichment but hear me out, you don’t have to only use treats in your pups food-related toys, you can also use their main diet, it doesn’t always have to come in a bowl... In fact, it's more natural for dogs to have to hunt for their food, is this akin to hunting a squirrel? No, but your pups subconscious doesn't know that! This 2 pack of ball feeder enrichment are sturdy and thick enough to resist destruction by the most avid chewers whilst also being soft enough that it’s not frustrating for the dog trying to get the food and it's a two pack, fill them up, put them in the freezer and you have 2 days worth of enrichment done!
If your not a fan of squeaky toys then this isn’t the one for you but this 6 pack of squeaky toys are too cute to resist (and they are Bruce's absolute favourite) and at only £6.00 for the pack it doesn’t really matter if they get destroyed, though even when they do I Frankenstein them back together! Reduce, reuse, recycle and all that.
It’s not a secret we’re massive fans of enrichment here at Small Dog Spot, and this snuffle ball is such a great find that I wish all dog owners knew about. You unravel the fabric from the ball, roll up some treats or your dog's usual food, roll it back and place it back in the ball. Your pup will have to use their nose and their problem-solving skills to sniff out and get to the food. You can make it easier by leaving some rolls pulled out slightly from the ball or make it harder by shoving them all in there as tight as possible so it’s harder for your pup to get to. All in all, it keeps Bruce entertained for hours and for just £9.99 it’s a great Amazon bargain find.
